The company was founded in 2011 by Chris French. Prior to founding CRF Development, Mr. French was an asset manager, underwriter and banker for approximately ten years first at Centerline Capital and then Citi Community Capital, the community development division of Citigroup. Following his tenure with Citi Community Capital, Mr. French worked developing hotels in the Tri-State area utilizing the EB-5 Program for a company called Manhattan Regional Center. Mr. French has structured and/or underwritten well in excess of $1 billion in multifamily, hospitality and senior care/assisted living financing in projects across the nation with a particular focus on the northeast region.
